The Protected Designation Origin's Control Board of Benicarló's Artichoke is the body that encompasses local producers and that approves the suitability of artichokes that receive this certification.
Here I share part of the work I developed for this brand, from packaging to photo shooting direction and layouts, mainly for use on social networks.

For the packaging, the idea is that a simple hand-drawn artichoke is fulfilled by the actual product behind it.

In order to keep an unified image, the photo shooting used similar backgrounds, Kraft paper and wooden tables to dramatize the product itself. A group of static images and  animated gifs were produced  to dynamically enhance the product's benefits.

In 2019, the Municipality of Benicarló awarded the Protected Designation Origin's Control Board of Benicarló's Artichoke with the award "Golden artichoke" that recognises the work behind the artichoke production, which is a very important part of the local economy.

To proudly show that, we create this simple yet strong visual, in which headline can be read "After years of cultivating the best artichokes, this year we harvested a golden one."
